Justin has modernized the referee community by creating a virtual experience where referees can sign up for games, view assignments, get driving directions, and get information on upcoming referee courses. The days of mailing paper tournament schedules, weekly phone calls for league games, and not being able to check assignment information at a referee’s convenience are over.
Justin first became certified as a USSF referee in 1994, upgraded to 07 in 1999, and has been a state referee since 2004. Justin became a USSF certified assignor in 2002 and used personal experiences as a referee to give other referees the services they deserve. Since that time, Justin has assigned tournaments in all four regions of Florida and handled many large scale tournaments.
In Brevard County, Justin assigns all four full sided Challenge Sports tournaments, all six Cocoa Expo tournaments, BYSL tournaments, and other organizations that come to town. Some of the most notable are the US National Military Team, Super Y League National ODP, and MLS Combine.
During seasonal play, Justin has handled assignments for the following BYSL clubs: Three Lions, Melbourne Beach, Melbourne Eau Gallie, Cocoa Expo, Satellite Beach, Malabar, Port St. John, Rockledge, Brevard Football Club, Central Brevard, Indialantic, and Space Coast.
